The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs is the department that houses the Governor's Highway Safety Office. It is located in the Law Enforcement and Traffic Safety division of ADECA. The North Alabama Highway Safety Office (NAHSO) and thet Greater Birmingham Traffic Safety Program are two examples of the nine Community Traffic Safety Program (CTSP) regions located across the state.
